Register today for the BIBLIO specialisation course!

After the successful Massive Open Online Course with more than 1200 enrolled participants, we are approaching the next step of the BIBLIO training programme – the specialization course. In fact, the two specialization courses – one for those who wish to specialize as Community Engagement and Communication Officer and another one for Digital Transformation Facilitator. The two courses will run in parallel in each of the BIBLIO partner countries – Bulgaria, Greece, Italy and Latvia. Unfortunately, the courses are not available for participants from other countries, because they will adopt a blended approach – face-to-face workshops will take place in addition to the online learning, followed by the work-based experience. Participants who successfully complete the course, will do an apprenticeship in a partner library.

A minimum of 25 participants will be selected for the course in each country, but partners can decide to enroll more. The specialisation courses will be organized in the national language in each country. When selecting the participants, partners will give priority to those candidates who have completed the MOOC, and who already have an idea for a project, and a library where they could undertake the work-based learning.

The courses will start in February and today* is the last day to register (*stay tuned for an eventual extension of the deadline). The full descriptions of the two courses are available here: CECO and DIGY, and the registration form can be accessed through this link. The applicant can change the selected language through the dropdown menu on the top right of the form.

Participants can skip selected modules if they can prove that they have completed studies, or have experience, in the topic. To prove this, they need to upload a document (diploma, certificate) proving that they have undertaken an equal number of study hours for each module as it is described in the course curriculum. Professional experience will be evaluated according to the description provided in the CV.
