EXCHANGING IDEAS ON TRANSFORMING LIBRARIES IN THE DIGITAL AGE

On March 29th from 14:30 CET to 16:00 CET there will be an online event organised by ALL DIGITAL. It will be very interesting for all the organisations and individuals working to enhance digital skills of citizens, thanks to the developpement of themes like digital competence, project-based learning and training course.

The aim of the event is to present the BIBLIO project and its approach to boosting digital skills and competences for librarians in Europe. We will present the specialisation course, focusing on the modular approach of the curriculum and how we assess prior competences and existing experience, so learners can adjust their learning path. The course is aligned with two European frameworks – DigComp and EntreComp, and we will also explain how the certification process.

The second half of the event will be dedicated to exchanging ideas among the participants on concrete projects for the digital transformation of libraries. This session will also serve as inspiration for the participants in the BIBLIO Specialisation course, who will start their apprenticeships in libraries across Europe during the Summer.
